| Do I need a life vest? |

If you are uncomfortable in and around water it is always a good idea to wear a life vest. The Illinois River is a very gentle flowing river with most of the river being no more than 5 feet deep. There are spots along the river that get much deeper but for the most part if you fall out of your raft you can typically stand up. Please note that each raft is required to have one life vest per person, these are provided to you as part of your float trip fee. |
