Frosty Keg Float was started back in 2000 by a group of friends who had recently been evicted from their apartment for having to much fun.  They began brainstorming for ways to have fun without the chance of being evicted and they came up with a float trip.  The first FKF although nothing in comparison to today’s FKF was still considered a success.  We had about 20 – 30 people attend the event and had a blast.

Year two we decided to see if we could break our previous record and gather more friends.  We accomplished this and the snowball began building into what is now the largest float trip on the Illinois River.  We began to theme the float trips about 6 years ago and continued the tradition.

We’re not sure how long the ride will last but we’re having fun and enjoy putting the event together for our fans!
