We Want Brew!
FKF 2009 - July 17th & 18th

FKF 2009 - Red, White & Brew - July 18th - Falcon Floats

It’s 87 degrees one day, snowing the next and tornado sirens blaring the following day. Yes that’s right, it’s springtime in Oklahoma… Springtime to everyone means something special. Whether it’s baseball, yard work, spring-cleaning, or the end of that awful FOX singing show, springtime has its own significance.

What was started as a select few and has transformed into a mass crowd of followers, springtime means something different. That’s right, springtime means FrostyKegFloat is in the planning. With 3 months to go, FKF is right around the corner. Good music, beads, camping, cooking, burning in the suns rays, seeing those once a year best friends, and of course; a ridiculous amount of beer consumption all compressed into 72 hours of unsupervised fun.

This year FKF will be held with Falcon Floats. The owners of Falcon Floats have generously agreed to assist s in this madness known only as FKF.

July 17th, 18th, and 19th we expect to see everyone and as always some newbies all weekend dressed in your finest patriotic outfits. This year the theme is Red, White, and Brew. Go crazy with it. As always the most creative outfit wins a prize. But be warned, it will take a great amount of creativeness and dedication so start planning!

As we are still in the planning, more games, events and entertainment news will still be presented at a later time, go ahead and clear the calendar for FKF09 Red, White, and Brew!

Cheers from us,

FKF Crew

FKF 2008 Rewind
Well it was another exciting year at Frosty Keg Float. We had a little issue with rafts but all and all it was an issue that was identified and can easily be fixed for next year.

Once again the mud showed it's ugly face, but thanks to all of you, the only effect it had was adding to the fun. (Whoever had the boogyboard made my day).

Congratulations to you all, we once again broke the largest float group record. We had 290+ signed up, the bus drivers counted 300+ and we covered over 350 people. If we covered over 350 people, that would mean the record was SHATTERED by 131 people!!!

The Bedouin Duet played a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that was absolutely awesome, Standing Ape Count delivered an amazing performance, and as always Chris Clark was amazing. I always tear into the Jager when he sings. Those two go together like... well, FKF and Beer.

I did see some new and interesting drinking contraptions this year. You all never cease to amaze me with your alcohol-binging-apparatus-developing. Kudos to you all.

Last year I did a "What I learned from this years float trip" and I thought I would do it again.
  • I learned that bands are awesome. Maybe we can turn that into an ALL DAY thing.
  • I learned that the stage should be in front of dry land.
  • The better costume you have, the more attention you attract/boobies you see.
  • I make more friends every year at this event than I would anywhere else.
  • Girls bathrooms are WAY more disgusting than guys. (That will haunt my dreams forever)
  • Rope sandals will always stink. Always.
  • Liquor on the river is a no-no. Failure to comply will result in the police giving you the business and a wife who can still make my knees buckle with a raise in her voice. Joe, I needed you to hold me after that.
Be sure to upload ALL your pictures onto the site at frostykegfloat.com Thanks again for the blurry year! Stay in touch on the message board!

Cheers!
